The Kent Volunteer Fire Department celebrated  105 years of service to the Kent community by hosting the annual Kent Firemen’s Ball June 11, 2016 at the Kent Firehouse, 28 Maple St.

The Firemen’s Ball has a long tradition in Kent, with residents and neighbors coming together for a night of dinner and dancing, frivolity with friends old and new, and a celebration of community.

The event was held June 11 with the doors opening at 6 p.m. .

The 2016 event was catered for the second year by Freund’s Farm Market in North Canaan.
