August 26th, 27th, 28th Firemen’s Fair
The end of the summer just before the children have to get back to the books we will have our Fireman’s Fair.   Parade, Fireworks, Bingo, Cake Wheel, White Elephant Tent, Kids Games, music and yes the food tent. So you need to clean out your garages, attics, spare rooms and bring your treasures to the white elephant tent when it goes up or maybe you would like to be a vendor, Hope you get a chance to come down and enjoy the fun.

Sept. 20th Golf Tournament
Fall in New England is beautiful and at the top of a mountain it is breath taking. On September 20, 2010 we will have our 6th annual Golf Tournament at Bulls Bridge Golf Course and hope you can come and join us.

We thank all of those people and business in and around our town for helping to support the Kent Volunteer Fire Department.

      Kent Volunteer Firemans Ball 99th year June 12, 2010 Held annually in June the Ball is attended by an average of 700 guests, The department members and friends cook a roast beef dinner followed by music to dance the night away.

      The KVFD is always looking for new members If you are interested in helping your community, whether it is providing lifesaving service as an EMT, MRT or Firefighter; or helping support the department through our Auxilliary; or getting your feet wet as a Junior, the KVFD welcomes new members year-round.
