The Kent Volunteer Fire Department

Proudly Serving Kent Connecticut Since 1911

Facilities

28 Maple Street

Members of the KVFD have settled into our new home at 28 Maple Street.  This state of the art facility, finished in October 2008, can house all of our front line equipment, provide for training, meetings, and office space to keep up with all of our responsibilities.

Swift Lane

Our Swift Lane location was the site of our “ambulance barn” for twenty five years. This converted barn from The Swift Farm was originally across the street. Members of the department took on the task of moving it to its current location. This is now used for storage.
