The members of the Kent Volunteer Fire Department encourage you to get involved, serve your community, help your neighbor, learn something new, challenge yourself and to make a difference.
****The KVFD has a special need for additional EMS personnel available during the work week hours. If you would like to become a certified “Medical Response Technician” or “Emergency Medical Technician”, and are available weekdays, please contact the KVFD to learn how we may help you obtain certification as an EMS provider.
Everyone has the capacity to help the KVFD in it’s desire to protect and serve the people and town of Kent. We need firefighters, emergency medical services personnel, drivers/operators, mechanics, fundraisers, organizers, bookkeepers, and all manner of support personnel.

99th year June 12, 2010
Held annually in June the Ball is attended by an average of 700 guests, The department members and friends cook a roast beef dinner followed by music to dance the night away.

- The KVFD is always looking for new members If you are interested in helping your community, whether it is providing lifesaving service as an EMT, MRT or Firefighter; or helping support the department through our Auxilliary; or getting your feet wet as a Junior, the KVFD welcomes new members year-round.
