Coin Drop

The Coin Drop is held Memorial Day weekend each year as a fundraiser for the Kent Volunteer Fire Department. Volunteers hold boots on Route 7, just south of town, and motorists drop coins in. It is a very successful fundraiser, some years raising $2,000 or more.
