Firemen’s Ball

A large crowd gathered at a past Firemen’s Ball.

June 14, 2014

The Kent Firemen’s Ball is a gala event looked forward to by many all year. It offers a chance to catch up with fellow residents, enjoy good food and dance the night away.

When you arrive at the Ball, you’ll be directed to your table by fire department members.  Festivities will kick off at 6 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres and music at the firehouse.  Dinner will be served beginning at 7 p.m.

The evening is BYOB with set ups and ice available. The Ball Committee is urging responsible drinking at the festivities. Please arrange for a designated driver within your group.

Advance tickets are $30 per person, and covers hot and cold hor d’ouevres, dinner, coffee and dessert plus entertainment. Tickets will be sold at the door for $35 per person, as space allows. The event is BYOB, and ice and set-ups are provided.

The Firemen’s Ball is a tradition that spans over 100 years, and is an important fundraiser for our local volunteer fire and ambulance service. Proceeds from the event benefit the KVFD operating budget which pays for required training, equipment and operational costs associated with providing emergency response to the Kent community.

To reserve seats or tables, please email kvfdball@kentfire.org.
