The Kent Volunteer Fire Department Inc. is seeking proposals from interested parties to provide bookkeeping services for the department.  A job description can be viewed here.


  1. Download and complete an application here.

  2. Applications must be received by the Kent Volunteer Fire Department no later than 5:00 PM on Monday, June 19, 2023. Applications must be mailed or sent via email to Submitted applications shall include an application and resume or list of qualifications and experience.

  3. If submitting an application package via mail, please include "RFP: Bookkeeperon the outside of the envelope/package;

  4. If submitting an application package via email, please write "RFP: Bookkeeper: June 19, 2023" in the subject line.


Questions on the proposal can be sent via e-mail to  All answers to questions will be shared with all vendors who have requested the proposal.
